    A Little Experiment...

    Yeah, thats how it started. (What?) An experiment, and a seemingly doomed one. First, lets brief here. I am a drugged out lesbian nympho. (That's an understatement) He's a clean virgin man. What were the odds? I know he's had feelings for me for a long time, but i never thought I'd end up dating him, much less falling in love with him. (Duh, you're gay) But we've been dating for a few weeks now, and I haven't been this happy in years. (You've never been happy) His name is Travis. Or T-Ogle. Or Teddy. I call him my Coin-Operated Boy. (Dresden Dolls, anyone?) Yes, the Girl Anachronism and the Coin-Operated Boy have finally found eachother. (You sound insane) He calls me Fangzy-Baby. I have no idea how this works. (That's 'cause it doesn't) For a long time i thought i was just fooling myself into thinking i like him, but thats not the case. I love him. Maybe... a true connection can transcend gender? (Alright now you're scaring us) Neither of us ever expected to end up like this. He always thought of me as his dreamgirl - the one he can never get. That made me laugh my ass off. (Us too) I've never thought of myself as anyone's fantasy. We've been friends for about a year and a half. The more i got to know him, the more wonderful he seemed. (Don't make us toss our cookies) We have an incredible amount of things in common, and not on a shallow level. Within our souls, for lack of a better term. On the surface we are complete opposites. Like the same person born into similar situations, with different responses to the trajedy we survived. (Barely survived, you call this surviving?) He's a clean virgin man (You said that already) and i am a drugged out lezbo nympho.(Now you're just being redundant) He's a metaphorical teddy-bear. I'm a metaphorical wildfire. (Sucky combo if you ask us) He's 6'1", blonde, ruddy-faced, and big-boned (understatement #2) I'm pale, dark haired, 5"1, and very lean. He never bitches. I bitch all the time. He's incredibly shy. Im in everyones face. He's a straight F student, though he's extremely intelligent. (are you sure about that?) I'm a straight A student, though i'm constantly zonked. (understatement #3) I'm the man in the relationship. (Well you are Super-Dike) But beneath all the bullshit, we couldn't be more alike. We're both narcissists. He's a martyr. Im an ex-martyr. We share an inexplicably deep passion for music. He's a hopeless romantic. I'm a hardened romantic. (Are you trying for the most-understatements-in-a-blog award?) I'm talking to him now. I'll catch you up later, guys. (About time the bleedin bitch shut her trap)

    The Hippigoth Phenomenon

    First, a bit about Goth:

    When punk delved more into nihilism, gothic went in a separate direction and became more hedonistic, sexual and religious oriented. Contextually, gothic and what it means to be goth has changed over the years that many people only subconsciously realize that what they are doing is an act of rebellion.

    We are rebels.

    We are social rebels, misfits, a society within a society, ignored to some extent but still there, thriving and becoming more popular than ever. In theory we could even become so popular that we end up dominating society, in which goth would actually become a social norm. And then it would be the squares (such an 80s term) which would actually be considered freaks instead of the basics of normalcy.And if that day should ever come, our individuality will have to evolve with it, but at least by then we will have dramatically altered our world to the point that we have become something more than a freakshow for the people on the subway. We will become a new social group that cannot be ignored any longer and our ethics and morals, many of which are deeply philosophical and have truth imbedded in them, will become a new cornerstone for an ever evolving society.

    And so I say, Cheers to the future of Neo-Gothicism! Cheers to an art style that has been around since Francesco Goya in the early Romanticist Period! Cheers to the people, the designers, the writers and the artists who stand up and make a difference! Vive le resistance!

    GOTH IS ABOUT REBELLING AGAINST SOCIAL NORMS, AND DEFYING OLD FASHIONED SEXUALITY & REPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT AND RELIGION. DO NOT EVER FORGET IT.

    And now the comparison:

    Strange how goth seems to be the dark 21st century version of the 60's hippies, isnt it? its like the sun and the moon. Sun was noticed first, connotated with light, warmth, and exuberant joy as the hippies were, then rejected. And as the ideology of it all resurfaces, the sun is replaced by the moon, associated with darkness, cold, and calm sorrow, as the goths are. But the ideology - Rebellion and Defiance against Structure, Societal Norms, Organized Religion, Tradition, Intolerance, Judgement, and the constraints of the Mind, Absolute Freedom, And Civil/Social Acceptance, and Self-Expression. Day becomes Night, Sun becomes Moon, Hippie becomes Goth. Maybe this time we wont go down in history as failures (which neither group is) as was the fate of the poor Hippies.

    I AM A HIPPIGOTH. I HAVE ELIMINATED THE NEED FOR WAR BETWEEN THE TWO LABELS. WE SHOULD EMBRACE EACHOTHER, FOR HIPPIES AND GOTH ARE KINDRED SPIRITS. WHY NOT ERADICATE THE DISTICTION BETWEEN THE TWO? THE ONLY REAL DIFFERENCE IS YOUR STYLE OF EXPRESSION. BRIDGE THE GAP, END THE FEUD. EMBRACE THE HIPPIGOTH IN YOU.

    I really dont have a clue what fascinating subject to enlighten you people on today, so fuck it. Everyone likes bull, but i dont feel like bullshitting right now. I'm wading in a sea of ashes, bloody cum-stained bedsheets, empty shooter tubes, and crumpled bits of paper containing poems, lyrics, and miscellaneous psychotic rants spewed from the mouth and pen of a pathetically empty vessel aching to be filled with knowledge and inspiration. Maybe i should skip state, and abandon this place. On second thought, i'll just burn the motherfucker down.

    What to type, what to type...  well i havent really posted about my personal life in a while. Im on lockdown at the moment ; have been for the last 2 months, 5 days, 9 hours, and 36 minutes (but who's counting?). However there are always loopholes, discretion, and good old-fashioned B/E (breaking and exiting, haha) to finangle one's way way out of this genre of a situation. Also, my #1 connection is officially out of lockup and has remanned her station as such (so you know im gonna be partying round the clock for the next few nights). *Cue meniacal laughter*
